Avenue Montaigne is the address of the maisons, where the windows stay lit late and the doormen know your first name. Montaigne Burgundy was drawn from that block, a vertical rectangular case in polished gold tone, a deep burgundy dial that reads almost black until the light shifts, and a croco-textured strap in the same wine.

It slips under a cuff at a morning meeting and holds its own at dinner. Pair it with a camel cape, oxblood lipstick, the gloves you only wear in October.
