Opéra Gold belongs to that hour, a vertical oval case in polished gold tone, a champagne dial set with deep black Roman numerals and fine black hands, a slim gold-tone link bracelet that catches the chandeliers.

Pair it with black velvet, pearls along the collarbone, hair pulled up. In the morning, it warms a plain white shirt just as easily.
